Mr. Amit Shah started NLC with a vision -- to fill the void of quality leather products in the country, while creating empowering opportunities for women and marginalized groups of Nepal. Today, Shah’s daughter Ms. Alisha Shah, who is guided by the same values as her father, leads the company as its Director.

The demand for quality and durable leather products is ever increasing in not only Nepal’s domestic market, but globally in the recent decades and years. Yet, a dearth of companies producing these products and meeting the needs of the customers in Nepal mean that Nepalis have often turned to international brands and producers to fulfill their needs. It is this void that Nepal Leather Craft has endeavored to fill ever since it came into being. And it has proudly supplied quality products to fulfill domestic demands.

Since its establishment in 2001, the company has been successful in securing a place as a prominent manufacturer, supplier and exporter of leather items The “Rhino Brand” includes an array of leather items for people of all groups and age -- jackets, pants, skirts, briefcase, holdalls, leather bag packs, camera and tool bags, cash bag, file bag, kit bag, ladies hand bags, ladies purse, men’s wallets, leather folders, tablet covers, key rings, dairy cover, kitchen kit, card holder, passport bag, camera case, and cuff. With these products, in the course of the three decades, the brand has made an impactful presence among customers of various groups and ages.
